Jacob Chafe is a recent graduate from Memorial University of Newfoundland, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) degree.

Throughout his undergraduate studies, he worked in diverse fields within the marketing discipline. His marketing professional experience commenced in a role where he signed on new SMB clients in the hospitality industry across Ontario for the Paid Google Ads segment at a Digital Marketing Agency in Alberta.

After a year of agency experience, he moved on to crafting organic and paid social media advertising for local touristic and apparel organizations. As of late, he still provides social media marketing services to local businesses, accompanied by on-page SEO efforts for some of their e-commerce websites.

While Jacob’s professional experience revolved around the marketing industry, a contrasting picture can be painted for his academic journey, as his concentrations at the University focused on Accounting and Finance, rather than within the marketing discipline. Such a contrasting academic background to the norm in the industry equips him with astute analytical and financial acumen that complement his strategic marketing approach.

In today’s post-undergraduate era for Jacob, he is thrilled to be getting back to the agency lifestyle at Newfound Marketing and picking things back up where his professional journey began with Paid Google Advertising.
