Iron City Services is a trusted mining partner in the iron mining industry. They offer support in a range of services including mine pit development, mine operations, land development for facilities and more which results in enhanced productivity and streamlined operations. Whether a business is a large-scale operation or a smaller mine, they have the capabilities to support due to their years of experience in the industry and high safety standards.
The Challenge
While they already had a web presence, it was a single page WIX website with little to no visual appeal and minimal information about their services. What Iron City really needed was a professional website that showcased their vast mining services to compliment any RFP submissions they made.
The Solution
We started from the beginning with some industry research and developed a new site map which defined the new pages and missing content that was needed for the new website. Once the sitemap was finalized, we collaborated with the Iron City team to fill in the content gaps and gather photos for the website. We created a rugged yet professional design to align with the mining industry but also help Iron City stand out against competitors. We paired the new design with an easy-to-use WordPress backend which has a similar user-experience to WIX so there was a smaller learning curve for the Iron City team when it came to training.
The Results
Iron City Services now has a visually-compelling website that properly outlines their wide range of mining services. A perfect compliment to any RFP submissions they make in the future. The team at Iron City has also been trained on how to use their website so they have the skills to add new projects and services as their business continues to grow.
